Dear Sir, I inherited a pair of Hi-Tec boots ten years ago from my son Mark who had worn them for some years previously as a junior doctor at Dorchester Hospital. I would guess that he purchased these boots in 1994. As you see from the photographs they have stood the test of time as my dog walking boots. Last week I spotted a pair of Hi Tec boots which are as near a match to my trusted old pair so I had to buy them. My old boots still have life in them after fourteen years hard use as the soles are sound and my dogs have their eyes on them as they like to carry boots around. Thank you for an excellent product. Hello Frank, Just a quick line to say how funny, on reading your thank you letter on the inside of the box, of my new boots, how close it was to my thoughts when I tried on and put the boots to the test. GREAT purchased my boots on the Thursday, went one mile walk with my dogs, wore them on the Friday for work, which was mainly driving, then the big test Saturday, walked the Yorkshire three peaks, 25 miles in under 7 hours and only one blister!! Dear Mr. van Wezel - It is with great sadness that I announce the retirement of my Hi-Tec boots. They have climbed the pyramids in Mexico City, the mountains of Colorado, the volcanoes of Chile, walked the beaches of Hawaii, as well as the streets of New York, Boston, L.A., D.C., (pretty much every major U.S. city - and many in Europe), London, Rome, Venice, Milan, Paris, Madrid, Amsterdam, Munich, Frankfurt, Stuttgart, Bombay, Chennai, Bogota, Buenos Aires, Santiago, and countless other cities I have forgotten in my travels as an airline pilot. These boots were comfortable, rugged and a safeguard against the hazards of rural and urban walking. They served faithfully on many adventures and in everyday use. They will be missed. The good news being that their legacy will be continued in the form of my new Hi-Tec Altitude boots bought yesterday. The passing of the torch in included pictures. Dear Frank, I recently purchased a pair of hiking boots from your company. I was impressed. As a person whose foot was crushed in a car accident 20 years ago, finding the right footwear can be challenging. When my wife and I returned home from this purchase, we went for a two mile walk.
