HI-TEC NEW APPOINTMENTS

With the recent departure of David Goulding, who has now left the company in order to seek new challenges, Martin Binnendijk, has decided to take a more hands-on involvement in the further fine-tuning of the European Operation and will therefore take on the role of President for Hi-Tec Europe himself. Binnendijk joined HI-TEC as CEO in 2002 but his focus will now be on further integration in order to optimize service and efficiencies for our customers and fuel the continued growth of the Hi-Tec and Magnum brands in Europe.
HI-TEC Chairman, Frank van Wezel, is proud to announce the promotion of his son Edward to General Manager. Edward van Wezel, 30, has worked at HI-TEC in various roles since 1999 and his new role will see him working closely alongside his father in the day-to-day running of the Global Sports and Outdoor business.
Chris Mole has also been announced as HI-TEC’s Group Sourcing Director. Previously employed at Ernst & Young for the period of 6 years as a Special Projects Consultant, Mole will be responsible for all of HI-TEC’s Production and Logistic issues.
Helen Durant has been promoted to new Group PR Manager. Durant joined the company in 1998 and has been responsible for the UK Advertising & PR campaigns for the last 6 years. New responsibilities include the company’s public relations and communications within all International markets and relevant media contacts. © 2007 HI-TEC Plc
