Joueur professionel Egyptien de Squash, Amr Shabana est né le 29 Juillet 1979 au Caire. Il est passé professionel en 1995, et a remporté 4 championnats du monde. Il est devenu en 2006 le premier N°1 mondial de squash Egyptien. Aujourd'hui, il occupe la 5ème place mondial.

Vainqueur en 2003, 2005, 2007 et 2009.
