Team Vibram®

Vibram® is the world leader in high performance rubber soles, and was already an official sponsor of the Ultra Trail Marathon of Mont Blanc, but this year the company will go one step further with its own team. Most people can do some truly exceptional things, for example finish the UTMB®, and that is why Vibram® made the effort to line up five runners from among the registered racers to form a team that can count on full support, with products known for their reliability and performance, and longstanding values of sportsmanship, team spirit and respect for the environment.

That is how Team Vibram® UTMB® was born, with five athletes who completely share the Vibram values and team spirit. The selection was very international, but voluntarily avoided "top notch" racers in favour of "normal" runners extremely motivated to take part in an extraordinary personal experience, but as a team. Five individuals perfectly in tune with the team's highly original slogan, i.e. "Ordinary people being extraordinary"

Last March Vibram began the selection of racers wanting to run the UTMB® as part of the Vibram® team. The selection ended in the middle of April, and among the 150 candidates from 12 countries, the team is made up by two Italian, one Swiss and two French athletes.
