Useful Resources for Walking in Caernarfonshire

Cyngor Gwynedd Council - official website for Cyngor Gwynedd County which includes information on conservation sites which open all year round. These include; the Llyn Area Of Outstanding Natural Beauty and coastal path (broken down in to 14 maps), the Pen Llŷn a’r Sarnau Special Area of Conservation and a number of nature reserves and woodlands.

Walk Eryri - independently edited website run by Dave Roberts. He breaks down the Eryri Way walk, which is an extention to the Llyn Coastal Path, in to 5 days and stages. The walk starts in Caernarfon, follows the peninsula down and the mountains back. The distance covered by this walk is 133 kms and and so it is a very challenging walk for the esteemed rambler.
