Useful Resources for Walking in Derbyshire

 

Derbyshire Walks - independently run site by local resident Phil which has around 15 walks detailed from easy to medium difficulty and lots of self-shot photography. Descriptions include useful links to websites of landmarks and buildings you will pass on route for more in depth history information.

Debyshire-Peakdistrict - here you will find over 100 places of interest, the history on them and some lovely images. The independent guide does not offer step-by-step walk descriptions but it is a nice resource for inspiring you with places on which to base your walks.

Walking in Derbyshire - John Harris' site provides hundreds of free to download walk descriptions in 12 different areas of Derbyshire from Alfreton to Ripley.
