Over 2,500 volunteers in 44 locations throughout Modesto participated in Modesto's city wide clean up event. We cleaned up baseball fields, golf courses, local school yards, and a few local parks received new sand or wood chips and got their play equipment cleaned. Even three mobile home parks had volunteers clean up yards for senior citizens that cannot handle the task themselves. The downtown flower pots received a fresh Spring update and the city can now enjoy a few new trees. One local neighborhood teamed up, rolled up their sleeves and cleaned up an eye sore right outside their own back fence.

We are proud to report that in total the March 27th volunteer clean up day cleared away a staggering 30 tons of trash and debris. We proudly stand in ovation to every volunteer and business that rolled up their sleeves to make our community a safer, cleaner place to live.
