Christmas Delivery Dates
If you want to receive your Hi-Tec footwear before Christmas, we strongly recommend that you order as soon as possible to avoid disappointment. The last date for Economy Delivery is 16th December. If you choose to pay for First Class Premium Delivery, you'll need to order by 18th December. However, please be aware that postal services are extremely busy at this time of year, so although we would hope you would receive your order in time for Christmas if ordered by these dates, unfortunately this is still not guaranteed.
Please note that our warehouse will close on 20th December 2013 and open again on 2nd January 2013. During this period, no orders will be processed and shipped. Any orders made on the 19th December will be processed and shipped, but may not be delivered until after Christmas, even if First Class Delivery has been selected. Any orders made from 20th December onwards may not arrive until the week commencing 6th January 2014. The good news is that we will be offering a sitewide discount code for 15% off all purchases to thank customers who are willing to wait for their order. We appreciate your patience during this time.
How much does delivery cost?
You'll benefit from Free Economy Delivery when you spend over £30. If your order comes to less than £30, you'll be charged £2.99 for economy delivery. if you would like your order sooner, we also offer First Class Premium Delivery for a charge of £3.99.
Please note that the above delivery options apply to the UK and Northern Ireland only. Deliveries to Republic of Ireland will be charged at £3.99 for standard delivery.
How long will my order take to arrive?
Our team will endeavour to process your order as quickly as possible. Free economy orders are normally delivered within3-5 working days. However, due to a recent heavy increase in orders, please be aware that delivery could take up to 7 working days on some styles - this will be noted in the product descroption for all affected styles. First Class Premium Delivery orders are normally delivered in 1-3 working days.
During the Christmas/New Year period, delivery times may vary. This will be noted at the top of this page with suggested last order dates for pre Christmas delivery.
Can I ship my order to someone else or to a different address?
Yes, you can ship to a different address from your billing address.
Where do you ship to?
We currently ship to the UK, Northern Ireland and the Republic of Ireland.
Which carrier will deliver my order?
Standard Economy Delivery and First Class Premium will be handled by Royal Mail.
What is your return policy?
We offer a 365 day, no quibble returns & exchanges policy. However, we will not accept returned product if it has been worn outside or damaged. Please only wear on carpeted surfaces when initially trying on you new product. Please ensure you are happy with the fit before wearing them outside. If you’re not happy with your shoes simply send them back to us.

Where possible please try and keep the box in the same condition as you received it, as this will speed up the returns process. If you have any questions about how to return your shoes, please contact our customer services team on 01702 561321.
The cost of returns postage will be your responsibility.
Suspected faulty goods
If you expect a manufacturing defect and purchased your goods from a website or retail store other than www.hi-tec.com/uk, please return your purchase to the retailer you made your purchase from where they will inspect the goods for you inline with the Hi-Tec 365 day warranty.
If you purchased your footwear directly from this website, please contact our customer services team on 01702 561321 or via our online contact form at http://www.hi-tec.com/uk/contacts/. They will arrange for you to return your shoes for inspection. If a manufacturing fault is found, you will be offered a replacement or refund. We will also reimburse you for the cost of returning the item.
Christmas Closure - Customer Services
Please note that our Customer Services department will close on 23rd December 2013 and open again on 2nd January 2013. During this period, you may return items to us but they will not be processed until the office re-opens in January. The Customer Services Team will endeavour to respond to all queries as quickly as possible upon return and within 3 working days. Normal service will then resume on 6th January 2014.
