HI-TEC AWARDED ISO 14001

HI-TEC is proud to announce they have been awarded the internationally accepted ISO 14001 Certification for environmental management.

ISO 14001 applies to those environmental aspects which HI-TEC has control and over which it can be expected to have an influence. By identifying aspects of the business that impact on the environment and understand those environmental laws that are relevant to the situation. ISO 14001 is often seen as the corner stone standard of the ISO 14000 series. However, it is not only the most well known, but is the only ISO 14000 standard against which it is currently possible to be certified by an external certification authority.

The major benefits of this standard will ensure that HI-TEC is enabled to:

• Implement, maintain and improve an environmental management system
• Assure itself of its conformance with its own stated environmental policy
• Demonstrate conformance
• Ensure compliance with environmental laws and regulations
• Seek certification of its environmental management
• System by an external third party organization
• Make a self-determination of conformance

HI-TEC’s latest certification signifies the beginning of an extremely important journey for the brand – small but green steps in the right direction.
