Harrington, powered by his Hi-Tec CDT Super Power shoes, finished four shots clear of Ian Poulter after a stirring finish that saw him play his final six holes in four-under-par.

The $1,493,000.00 winner's check also guarantees Harrington's place in Europe's Ryder Cup for the match against the States in September catapulting him from 14th to a career-high third in the world rankings.
