Marie Curie Cancer Care has been encouraging people to head to the great outdoors and raise money to support Marie Curie Nurses for several years.  Whether it’s conquering some of the UK’s highest mountains, taking on the challenge of Yorkshire’s Three Peaks in one day, or hiking through picturesque countryside, you can do it all with Marie Curie Cancer Care.  Taking on one of these challenges, and raising sponsorship, means that Marie Curie Cancer Care can continue providing nursing care and support to people with terminal cancer and other illnesses in their own homes, when they need it most.

WALK TEN

Want to get involved but need a challenge on a smaller scale?  Join Marie Curie Cancer Care for an 10K evening walk this Summer and raise money for your local Marie Curie Nurses.  Check out their Facebook app or visit the website and click on your region to find the Walk Ten event nearest to you. 

Hi-Tec are pleased to be able to support the two free prize draws open to all participants of a Walk Ten event, one for everyone who banks over £50 within 2 weeks of their event, and one for everyone who fills out a post evaluation form.  The prizes are for grabs are the Altitude IV NT Enviro WPi walking boots, which were developed in association with the National Trust.
